My name is Ram Palarapu from Taiwan. I am working as an EUV Upgrade Engineer in ASML (A Dutch based semiconductor equipment company). I have received my master's degree in the stream of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in 2016. Later on, I started my professional career as a Hardware Engineer. I am currently holding the Permanant Alien Resident (PR) status in Taiwan. Being a Leader, the work demands me to travel a lot, so I mostly work on shifts [I work 14~15 days a month and 15 days off]. During the work, I stay at hotels and remaining time at home. The official language of Taiwan is Mandarin Chinese, and I am able to communicate in local language. About my work:
ASML's EUV NXE machine is used for manufacturing the electronic chips for Apple, Nvidia, Tesla and all other IC design companies in the world. As an engineer my job function is to install, upgrade and troubleshoot the machine and make sure it works well for the further production processes. I work inside the cleanroom and it�s a zero contaminated area. Future Plan: In the process of relocating to the USA or Netherlands, ASML.
